The purpose of Music Ministry at Sharon is to glorify God,
exalt His Name, and lead the congregation in meaningful worship. There are
several ways to be involved in our Music Ministry.
Adult Choir
Rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:00 P.M.
(6:00 P.M. during
summer schedule)
The Adult Choir is made up of people from all walks of life
with varying degrees of talent and experience, with a common desire to use
their talents and gifts to worship God. The Choir leads in worship from the
choir loft most Sundays, and participates in special musical presentations for
Christmas, Easter and 4th of July celebrations. Occasionally, a Praise Team is selected from
choir members to lead in contemporary worship services.
Children’s Choir
Plans are underway to revitalize our Children’s Choir
program. Stay tuned for details!
Handbell Choir
Sharon is blessed to have a four-octave handbell set. The handbell choir practices on Sunday
morning at 8:00 AM during the school year. The choir presents special music at
Christmas and Easter and occasionally for regular Sunday worship. This is a
great place to develop music reading skills and is open to anyone age 12 and up.
Praise Band
The praise band, made of drums, keyboard and guitar
accompanies congregation singing each Sunday.
This is by audition only, so if you are interested in participating
please contact the music ministry coordinator for more information.
Audio/Visual Team
The Audio/Visual team provides sound and video for all worship services.
This is by invitation only, but if you are interested please contact the music
ministry coordinator for more information.
